FM Belfast

For everyone out there who was first taken in the by Architecture In Helsinki school of infectious, hook-based quirky-nerd-dance, there have been few releases to date that have made any headway in evolving the unique vibe captured by anthemic jams such as AIH's "Do the Whirlwind" or "Heart it Races". Until now, of course. Enter Iceland's FM Belfast, whose T61 breakout track "Synthia" kicks like a jager-bombed horse at a Hot Chip show. If it's irresistible hook and unstoppable groove weren't enough, the song is about a broken synthesizer. Good gracious. Go and listen to it.
