Man? Robot? Nope, Thomas Bangalter. And boy oh boy I do not know why I waited as long as I did to check out this guy's stuff. Besides being a film director and, you know, being in Daft Punk, Thomas Bangalter has released some positively stupendous work on his label Roule. For anyone who likes Daft Punk (everyone with a brain) listening to Bangalter's solo work is like listening to unreleased Daft Punk tracks... except they WERE released. WHOA.Seriously, I really dig this stuff so go to the Roule profile at Discogs and buy something on vinyl or something if you are a nerd.
