Sonny Fodera
Enjoy the tracks! there will be plenty more coming
HOLY SWEET MERCY
If the handsome mugs of P-Thugg and Dave1 don't get you both musically and sexually excited, then I can't be sure what is wrong with you. Especially when they have released, yes, a new single upon the masses. "Night By Night" is vintage Chromeo, chock full of talk box, killer guitar riffs and sexual innuendo. Enjoy ladies and gents.

Jamie Lidell
Jamie Lidell, ladies and gentlemen. A little bit soul, a little bit dance, a lot awesome. I think it is safe to say that Jamie Lidell may be the blackest white soul singer to ever come out of Cambridgeshire. I knew little about him for the past two years or so after being informed of his general awesomeness, but finally took the leap and checked him out and boy oh boy was I ever NOT disappointed. The man can sing, the man can groove, and the man can make seriously killer and slick sounding tracks. So to celebrate let's hear a couple of tracks!

BANGALTER
Man? Robot? Nope, Thomas Bangalter. And boy oh boy I do not know why I waited as long as I did to check out this guy's stuff. Besides being a film director and, you know, being in Daft Punk, Thomas Bangalter has released some positively stupendous work on his label Roule. For anyone who likes Daft Punk (everyone with a brain) listening to Bangalter's solo work is like listening to unreleased Daft Punk tracks... except they WERE released. WHOA.
Seriously, I really dig this stuff so go to the Roule profile at Discogs and buy something on vinyl or something if you are a nerd.

Cassius - Feeling For You (Les Rythmes Digitales Mix)
If Cassius is mentioned on the internet, the names Air and Daft Punk always seem to come up as well, which means I really should have listened to them more by now. However outside of one or two tracks in the last year or so I have largely ignored a duo who seems to be widely respected. I wish I knew more about them to pass along, but as of now all I know is they are a French electro-house duo... exactly like Air and Daft Punk.
This track features a rippin' funk vocal sample (Michael Jackson? If not someone almost as awesome) and one hell of a juicy bassline. What else can someone possibly ask for in a house track?
Aaaand the original for y'all to check out as well:
